Why go headless

A CMS that stops dictating your frontend.

Traditional CMS platforms couple content and presentation into one monolith. Headless separates them — your editors keep a familiar dashboard, your developers keep full control of the frontend.

⚡

Performance by default

Content served over a CDN as JSON, rendered by Next.js with static generation or ISR — not a PHP template rebuilding on every request.

⌘

One hub, many surfaces

Publish once, deliver to your website, mobile app, kiosk or partner storefront from the same content model.

▦

Built to scale

Frontend and content layer scale independently, so a traffic spike on your site never touches your editorial workflow.

◆

Smaller attack surface

No public-facing admin, plugins or database to patch on the same server that renders your site — the CMS sits behind the API.

How it fits together

Content in. API in the middle. Any frontend out.

Four headless CMS platforms. One team that knows all four.

Each platform has a different sweet spot. We help you pick the right one during discovery, then build the integration with your Next.js or React.js frontend.

Frontend pairing

Next.js & React.js — our default pairing for every headless build.

Next.js handles the rendering strategy per page — static, incremental or server-rendered — while React.js drives the interface. Vue/Nuxt or Gatsby available on request.

Engagement process

Five steps from content model to production launch.

01

Discovery & content modelling

We map your content types, editorial workflow and the platform (Sanity, Strapi, Payload or Contentful) that fits your team.

02

API & architecture design

Schema, roles, environments and the REST/GraphQL contract your frontend will consume — documented before a line of UI code is written.

03

Frontend build in Next.js / React.js

Component library, rendering strategy per page (static, incremental or server-rendered), and design system implementation.

04

Integration, QA & performance pass

Content-to-UI wiring, preview environments for editors, Core Web Vitals and accessibility testing.

05

Launch & scale

Go-live, editorial handover and training, then ongoing support as your content and traffic grow.

Tell us what you're building. We'll tell you which CMS fits.

30 minutes with a headless architect — no sales script. You'll leave with a recommended stack (Sanity, Strapi, Payload or Contentful + Next.js/React.js) and a rough scope.

We reply within one business day. No spam, ever.

    Common questions

    Headless CMS, explained plainly.

What is a headless CMS, actually?

It's a content management system with no built-in frontend. Editors manage content in a dashboard (Sanity Studio, Strapi's admin panel, Payload's admin UI, or Contentful's web app); that content is exposed via a REST or GraphQL API, and your Next.js/React.js frontend fetches and renders it however you design it.

Sanity vs Strapi vs Payload vs Contentful — how do I choose?

Broadly: Sanity for structured, collaborative editorial content; Strapi when you want a free, self-hosted, highly customisable option; Payload when your team is TypeScript-first and wants a code-native admin; Contentful when you need enterprise governance across multiple brands or regions. We confirm the right fit during discovery.

Do I have to use Next.js as the frontend?

No — it's our default recommendation because of its rendering flexibility (static, incremental and server-rendered pages on the same site), but the CMS layer is frontend-agnostic. We've also paired these platforms with Vue/Nuxt and Gatsby on request.

How long does a headless CMS build take?

A focused marketing site typically runs 6–10 weeks end to end; larger multi-content-type platforms with custom workflows run longer. Timeline firms up after the discovery and content-modelling phase.

Can you migrate our existing WordPress or Drupal site to headless?

Yes. We audit your existing content model, map it onto the target CMS's schema, migrate the data, then rebuild the frontend in Next.js/React.js — with redirects and SEO equity preserved.
